Women living with HIV are invited to join an online medical Q and A session on
Saturday 26th September 2020 at 10 am.
This session will be hosted by Positive Women Inc. and presented by
HIV Specialist Joan Ingram.
Joan Ingram is an Infectious Diseases Physician at Auckland City Hospital who has been involved in the care of people living with HIV for many years. This ensures she has a sound understanding of the many long term issues people living with HIV face but she also keeps abreast of ongoing changes. She has been the New Zealand Board member of Australasian Society of HIV Medicine (ASHM) since 2015 and has been one of the organisers of the national Annual HIV Update for a number of years.
If you have any medical questions please email them in advance to email@example.com (please send by 21st September). Joan will answer the emailed questions during the live online session. It will be entirely confidential and no names will be mentioned when presenting the questions. Due to time constraints, Joan may not be able to answer all questions during the online session but will follow up anything unanswered via email. This is a great opportunity to ask an HIV expert for advice or information.
Duration: 40 minutes via Zoom (website meeting platform).
To join us please RSVP firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday 24th September.
Participants will be sent a meeting Zoom link prior to the workshop.
Please note, this workshop is for women living with HIV only.
